Entertainment fintech leader Wrapbook (USA) has acquired Cinapse, a premier digital scheduling platform used by major studio houses including Netflix and Disney. The acquisition, finalized in December 2025, integrates Cinapse’s real-time scheduling tools into Wrapbook’s AI-powered payroll and accounting ecosystem. This merger addresses a critical gap in the production supply chain by connecting creative planning directly with financial execution for high-budget film and TV projects.
Wrapbook CEO Ali Javid confirmed that Cinapse co-founder Herman Phillips will join the team as Director and GM of Scheduling. Cinapse has managed over $6 billion in production volume for hit series like ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The Boys’, making it a high-value asset for Wrapbook’s growth strategy. The unified platform aims to reduce administrative overhead for Assistant Directors and producers, providing a “one-stop” digital back office for the modern entertainment industry.
The full integration of the two technologies is expected to be completed by Q2 2026. This move reflects a broader industry shift toward software consolidation, where production teams seek seamless data flow between the set and the accounting office. By acquiring Cinapse, Wrapbook solidifies its position as the primary buyer of innovation in the production services market, promising increased transparency and efficiency for studios globally.
