Talpa Studios, FOX Entertainment Studios, and director-creator David Grifhorst have introduced a new family entertainment format, The House of Hide & Seek. Drawing inspiration from the classic childhood game, the series has been commissioned by RTL 4 in the Netherlands and is scheduled to premiere in 2026 on RTL 4, with streaming available on Videoland.

Each episode features six celebrity contestants who compete in a series of high-stakes rounds inside a massive two-story house containing over 120 hiding spots. The competition begins on the studio floor in front of a live audience, where players tackle visual puzzles or quizzes. Correct answers add funds to their personal ‘Moneyball,’ a portable vault they must safeguard throughout the game.

After each puzzle, contestants have 90 seconds to find a hiding place within the house. The one player left on the studio floor becomes the hunter, tasked with finding one of the hidden contestants within one minute. If the hunter succeeds, they claim a Moneyball and remain in the game, while the discovered contestant is eliminated. If the hunter fails, they are eliminated instead.

The House of Hide & Seek is a creation of Talpa Studios and David Grifhorst, developed in creative partnership with FOX Entertainment Studios and produced by Talpa Studios.
