MRMC Introduces Flair Bridge for Easier Motion-Control Robot Operation on Any Computer

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) has released Flair Bridge, a compact device designed to simplify the way operators control the company’s motion-control robots.

Measuring just 2 inches long, Flair Bridge removes the need for specific hardware or operating system requirements. This allows users to manage MRMC robots from almost any modern computer, including Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms. For the first time, Mac users can now operate MRMC rigs.

According to MRMC CEO Assaff Rawner, the device makes setup easier and increases flexibility, letting operators use their everyday laptops without losing performance. There is no need for special drivers, operating system changes, or BIOS adjustments, which speeds up installation and support on new computers.

Key features of Flair Bridge include:

  • Elimination of previous chipset and BIOS limitations, allowing more laptops to be used for robot control
  • Streamlined connectivity, enabling robots to run over Wi-Fi or company networks
  • Compatibility with all existing MRMC rigs, including older models
  • Powered by a simple 5V USB-C connection

Flair Bridge is now available and will be included with all future MRMC rigs, such as the new Cinebot Nano. Existing customers can also purchase the device separately to upgrade their current systems.

This new solution helps freelance operators and production teams work more flexibly and cost-effectively, using their own laptops while maintaining reliable control. More details are available on the company’s website.
