Fox News has promoted Aishah Hasnie to serve as its newest White House correspondent and as anchor for a two-hour Saturday program. In her new roles, Hasnie will lead a weekly show and join the network’s team covering the White House.

Jay Wallace, president and executive editor of Fox News Media, stated that Hasnie’s experience in Washington makes her a strong addition to the White House team. He also expressed confidence in her abilities as an anchor.

Hasnie joined Fox News in 2019 and has worked as a senior national correspondent. She has reported on both the 2020 and 2024 election campaigns and most recently covered Congress. Before joining Fox News, she worked at WXIN, the network’s Indianapolis affiliate, and at CBS affiliate WANE in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

In a statement, Hasnie said she is excited to deliver important news to viewers as an anchor and is honored to join the White House correspondent team.

Fox News has recently increased the roles of its correspondents and analysts as part of a programming update. The network launched a new weekend show, The Sunday Briefing, with correspondents Jacqui Heinrich and Peter Doocy in September, replacing the long-running MediaBuzz. Analyst Kayleigh McEnany now hosts a two-hour Saturday morning program, Saturday in America. Johnny “Joey” Jones and Tomi Lahren have been named permanent hosts of The Big Weekend Show. Last month, Bill Melugin was appointed as a congressional correspondent after reporting from Los Angeles on border and immigration issues.
