Twisted Metal is a half-hour live-action series inspired by the classic PlayStation game, blending high-octane action with comedy. It follows a charismatic outsider who is given a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic landscape. Following Season 1, John & Quiet enter the perilous Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby orchestrated by the enigmatic Calypso. As they navigate a barrage of dangerous new adversaries and familiar foes, including the notorious clown Sweet Tooth, John’s journey becomes even more complicated when he reconnects with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface. Twisted Metal is crafted by writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (known for Zombieland, Deadpool 1 & 2, Life, Spiderhead) alongside Michael Jonathan Smith, who continues as showrunner. The episodes are directed by Phil Sgriccia, Bill Benz, Iain MacDonald, and Bertie Ellwood.
