The Ravens were the first team featured in the original Hard Knocks series in 2001. The Bengals appeared in 2009 and 2013, while the Browns were showcased in 2018. This 2024 season will be the Steelers’ first appearance on Hard Knocks.

When the In Season series was announced, Keith Cossrow, VP and Head of Content at NFL Films, remarked, “Last season, the AFC North was the first division to have all four teams finish with winning records, making it the ideal setting for this new Hard Knocks format. We appreciate the Bengals, Browns, Ravens, and Steelers for letting us highlight some of football’s greatest rivalries and showcase the intensity of a playoff race in this competitive division.”
The In Season edition is an expansion of the Hard Knocks franchise, which previously followed the New York Giants during the Offseason and the Chicago Bears in the classic Training Camp edition.
